Roma have announced they have completed the signing of Fenerbahce player Salih Ucan on an initial season long loan.
The terms of the deal however make it extremely likely that the midfielder will eventually join the Giallorossi on a permanent basis.

According to a statement on the club’s website, the Stadio Olimpico side will have the option to extend the 20-year-old’s loan for another season for no additional cost, before potentially signing him permanently for a fee of €11m another year on.
“A.S. Roma S.p.A. would like to announce that it has agreed a loan deal with Fenerbahce Futbol A.S. for the player Salih Uçan for a fee of €4.75 million,” the statement reads.
“The contract is valid for the 2014/15 season and includes an option to extend the loan for another year, at no additional cost, and sign the player permanently from the 2016/17 season for a fee of €11 million.
“Salih Uçan has therefore signed a 5-year contract, which expires on 30 June 2019.”
