Sime Vrsaljko’s agent has confirmed that a meeting between Milan and Genoa will take place this week to discuss his client.
The Croatia international has been linked with a switch to San Siro for some time now, with a potential deal involving a swap with Alessandro Matri mooted.
The defender’s representative however, has also admitted that several other big clubs in Italy are interested.
“Let’s see what Genoa and Milan want,” Beppe Riso told MilanNews.
“There will be a meeting today or tomorrow and they will try and find an agreement.
“I’ll sit down with the lad soon, but first the two teams have to come to an agreement.
“Between today or tomorrow we will know more. But it’s clear that he would love to join a big club.
“But Vrsaljko has a few options – there’s Napoli, Fiorentina and Juve, who have all shown some sort of interest.”
