Douglas Maicon says that Roma are a club to have ‘changed my life’ and one where he will ‘win a Scudetto’.
The former Inter man is heading into a second season with the Giallorossi having enjoyed a successful return to Serie A last season with the League runners-up.
“Roma have changed my life,” Maicon has recognised this week to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Rudi Garcia is a master of football, and Totti and De Rossi are model professionals, whilst the environment conveys passion in every corner of the city.

The experienced full-back was talking to reporters at Brazil’s World Cup training base, which is currently dealing with the news of Neymar’s tournament-ending back injury.
“He is irreplaceable. Again I cannot understand how the referee at least didn’t caution Zuniga [responsible for the challenge that injured the Barcelona man].
“Neymar is accuse of over-reacting but after each game he has to spend a couple of days in the infirmary for treatment for the beatings.”
