Walter Samuel could be staying in Serie A, as it’s reported the Inter free agent will join Sampdoria.
The Wall is able to negotiate with any club after Inter allowed his contract to expire this summer.
According to Tuttosport, 36-year-old Samuel won’t be straying far, as he will remain in Italy with Sampdoria.
It’ll be a reunion with Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who was his teammate and then assistant manager to Roberto Mancini at Inter.
Samuel spent nine years with the Nerazzurri, but was released along with Esteban Cambiasso, Diego Milito and Luca Castellazzi.
Javier Zanetti hung up his boots this summer too.
Curiously, the last goal Samuel scored in an Inter jersey was against Sampdoria.
