Carlos Carmona confirmed he has a deal with Sevilla, while Atalanta officially sign Nicolò Cherubin from Bologna.
The Orobici have a double transfer story today, as one player leaves and another arrives.
Chile international midfielder Carmona has been heavily linked to Sevilla and today his representative confirmed they’ve agreed personal terms.
“There is a complete agreement between Sevilla and Carmona,” agent Leo Rodriguez told Radio Chile.
“Carlos has already chosen, he wants Sevilla. He had many different offers, but this was always his objective. We are planning everything with that in mind and hope Atalanta can understand the situation.”
This implies Sevilla have not yet agreed a transfer fee with Atalanta, although the price-tag is expected to be €10m.
Meanwhile, Atalanta have officially signed full-back Cherubin from Bologna on a two-year loan with option to buy.
