Roma are reportedly tracking Algeria international midfielder Yacine Brahimi, who lit up the World Cup.
The Desert Foxes progressed to the final 16 for the first time in their history and Brahimi’s performances caught the eye of several clubs.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Roma have set their sights firmly on the attacking midfielder for a summer swoop.
The 24-year-old is currently playing for Spanish club Granada – the side owned by Udinese and Watford patron Giampaolo Pozzo.
It is also reported that Newcastle approached Brahimi, but he held off and would prefer a move to Serie A.
Udinese are another more likely option, especially as he is already owned by the Pozzo family.
