World Cup winner Ciccio Graziani believes Cesare Prandelli is “making far too many mistakes.”
Italy beat England 2-1, lost 1-0 to Costa Rica and need at least a point against Uruguay on Tuesday to go through.
“Prandelli is making far too many mistakes,” slammed 1982 player Graziani on Radio Blu.
“Ciro Immobile, who was top scorer in Serie A this season, did not even come off the bench against Costa Rica.
“Prandelli is confused, he’s losing his grasp on the situation.”
Graziani also criticised the 4-1-4-1 system used in the victorious performance against England.
“You cannot play with Daniele De Rossi, Marco Verratti and Andrea Pirlo together. I hope he realises this.”
De Rossi is out of the Uruguay game with a calf injury, while Verratti did not play against Costa Rica.
