Roma are interested in signing two World Cup defenders, according to reports in the Italian Press today.
Corriere dello Sport believe that the Giallorossi have set their sights on Switzerland’s Ricardo Rodriguez and Eder Balanta of Colombia.
Rodriguez has been one of the stars of the tournament so far, setting up the winner as his nation beat Ecuador 2-1 on Sunday.
The Wolfsburg full-back however, has been valued at €20m by the Bundesliga side – a fee likely to be too much for Rudi Garcia’s men.
Balanta meanwhile, is at the more inexpensive end of the market, and could leave River Plate for as little as €8m.
Juventus are also thought to be interested in signing the 21-year-old.
