Ghana Coach James Kwesi Appiah lamented his team’s lack of concentration in their World Cup defeat to USA.
The West Africans fell behind to their Group G rivals after only 29 seconds but drew level with just 10 minutes remaining when Andre Ayew netted.
However, John Brooks’ header shortly afterwards snatched the three points for the US and Appiah believes his players could have done better.
“The very early goal was a disaster, we weren’t expecting it,” he said after the final whistle in Natal. “At this level it is tough. We could have done better.
“In the second half something similar happened and again a loss in concentration cost us the second goal.”
