Another Spanish paper, Sport, gave a different view of the situation to CalcioNapoli24.it.

“We spoke to the club to verify the news. Higuain is absolutely not in Luis Enrique’s plans. There was no contact with Napoli.
“Higuain’s entourage offered him to Barcelona, but there were no negotiations.”
Napoli released a statement via their Twitter feed. "The media reports suggesting Gonzalo Higuain could be sold to Barcelona are without foundation."
Argentina play Bosnia tonight in the World Cup, but ex-Real Madrid centre-forward Higuain is on the bench.
