Juan Guillermo Cuadrado prepares for his World Cup debut with Colombia today amid reports Fiorentina completed his transfer.
The winger is set to start when Colombia take on Greece at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT) and hopes to continue his fine Serie A form.
He is co-owned between Udinese and Fiorentina, but there are increasing reports that the Viola have agreed to buy out the remaining 50 per cent of his contract for €15m.
“I don’t prefer any team to another. I will go to play where God wants me to,” Cuadrado told Cromos.com.
“Florence is a beautiful place and my favourite spot is Piazzale Michelangelo, because from there you can see the whole city.
“Running is my passion, as I tend to go through about 12km per game.”
Cuadrado shattered his personal best this season with 11 Serie A goals.
