And they couldn’t have prepared any better after coming out 4-0 winners on Wednesday afternoon.

Palermo striker Andrea Belotti got the scoring underway in the 20th minute thanks to a penalty, before Riccardo Improta of Padova and Cristiano Biraghi made it 3-0 before half-time.

A last minute strike from Fulham’s Marcello Trotta completed the win.

The match was blighted however, with Domenico Berardi having to come off injured. There is no news yet on the severity of the knock.
