Fiorentina’s Stefan Savic says he expects a long summer ahead with regards to resolving his future.

The Montenegro international joined the Viola from Manchester City in 2012 and has been a regular in Vincenzo Montella’s starting line-up since arriving in Florence.

However, while the 23-year-old believes his time at the Artemio Franchi has been good for his career, he did not rule out the possibility of leaving the club, hinting that he wants to return to the Premier League.

“I’m happy, I’ve played in the majority of matches and I’ve improved,” Savic told Montenegrin newspaper Pobjeda.

“My arrival in Florence was the right move for my career. I have a contract for another two years with Fiorentina.

“It will be a long summer, let’s wait and see. I’ve adapted well in Italy, but maybe one day I will play in England again.”
