As expected, Unai Emery has signed a new contract with Sevilla that will keep him with the club until 2016.

The Basque Coach led the Andalusians to the Europa League title this season, prompting Milan to reportedly make him their number one choice to replace Clarence Seedorf at San Siro.

However, the Rojiblancos offered the 42-year-old a contract extension to remain in Spain, a deal which Emery agreed to and today officially signed.

Milan in the meantime turned their attentions to Pippo Inzaghi, and it is believed he will be formally unveiled as the new Rossoneri boss within the next couple of days.
