At the Press conference today to officially unveil him as the Catalan giants’ new boss, the 44-year-old was asked about his rapport, or lack of it, with the Giallorossi icon.
“My relationship with Francesco? It haunts me, just like the elbow by Tassotti on me!” joked Enrique. “The day I announced my departure from Roma he was one of the few players who came to greet me.
“I had and still do have a wonderful relationship with him, but I am still in contact with a lot of the players I had at Roma.
“With Totti, the captain, I have a great relationship.
“At Barca I will motivate the players in the same way as I did at Roma and Celta Vigo.”
