The Italian Press have today linked Gennaro Gattuso with a return to coaching at Czech outfit Viktoria Plzen.
The former Milan and Rangers midfielder began the season as boss of Palermo, but has was sacked by President Maurizio Zamparini after a poor start to their Serie B promotion bid.
Now, Sport Mediaset claim that the outgoing Czech champions are ready to make an offer to the 36-year-old to take over as Coach from the start of next term.
With Gattuso thought to be interested in a return to the dugout, it is still unclear as to whether he would accept the proposal or wait for what he deems to be a more attractive offer.
Should the ex-Italy international take the reins in Czech Republic’s fourth largest city, it would already be the third team that he has coached, following spells in Sicily and at Swiss side Sion.
