Italian media claim Monaco are prepared to offer record-breaking wages to tempt Antonio Conte from Juventus.

This is certainly not the first time the Coach has been linked with the job at Monaco, especially as he is considering his future in Turin after a third consecutive Scudetto.

Tuttosport’s front page this morning suggests a planned meeting between Conte and President Andrea Agnelli has been postponed, raising further questions on his position.

According to pundit Alfredo Pedullà, Monaco patron Dmitry Rybolovlev has already sent the message to Conte that he can have anything he wants.

That includes a contract worth €8m per season plus performance-related bonuses, carte blanche in terms of transfer strategy and huge funds to draw from.

Current boss Claudio Ranieri is widely expected to be shown the door at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, today The Sun newspaper in England claims Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is also a candidate for the Monaco job.

Potential replacements for Conte on the Juventus bench include Luciano Spalletti, Roberto Mancini, Massimiliano Allegri and today’s new name Sinisa Mihajlovic.
