Cagliari Coach Ivo Pulga assures they want to “ruin the party” for Coppa Italia winners Napoli tomorrow.

“Our tournament is not over, as there are still three games to go, two of them to be played against big clubs in full stadiums,” said Pulga after the Sardinians secured their safety.

“Napoli are a very strong side, so if we were to compare our squad with theirs, on paper it’s an easy result to predict.

“However, at times motivation can make the difference. Just look at what happened yesterday with Catania beating Roma 4-1.

“If Cagliari play like they know how, with intensity and determination, then it becomes very difficult to beat us. We won’t make it simple for them.

“I want to end the season on a high, as we still have a lot to play for. We’re playing in a party atmosphere, but we want to ruin the party for Napoli.”

The Partenopei will present the Coppa Italia trophy at the Stadio San Paolo after beating Fiorentina 3-1 in Rome on Saturday night.

Mauricio Pinilla and Matias Cabrera are out of action, but 23-year-old Marco Silvestri keeps his spot in goal.

“Silvestri had a splendid debut and we want to test him in a fiery atmosphere like the San Paolo.”

Cagliari squad for Napoli: Avramov, Silvestri; Astori, Avelar, Del Fabro, Murru, Oikonomou, Perico, Pisano, Rossettini; Barella, Conti, Cossu, Dessena, Eriksson, Tabanelli; Ibarbo, Ibraimi, Loi, Sau
