Mauricio Pinilla hopes to go to the World Cup with Chile, and is happy to stay at Cagliari.
The 30-year-old has been at the Isolani since 2012, playing over 50 League games for the Sardinian side.
But the striker has claimed that he wants to focus on doing well for his club and then make the plane to Brazil with his country.
“I really hope to go to Brazil and represent my country at the World Cup,” he told CagliariNews 24.
“It’s going to be a unique experience for all the players that have the honour of going.
“I’m delighted to be in contention, and that’s down to what I’ve done at Cagliari.
“I have another year on my contract with the Rossoblu and I am happy to stay here.
“Obviously, no one can say what will happen in the future, but I would be happy to stick to my contract and then see.”
