The season is finished for Genoa winger Paolo De Ceglie, who tore the posterior cruciate ligament in his knee.
The player had celebrated during last night’s 1-1 draw with Atalanta, having scored his first Serie A goal in two years.
However, he limped off in the second half and today Genoa announced he suffered the incomplete tear of the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
De Ceglie, who is on loan from Juventus, will be out of action for at least three months.
