Bologna Coach Davide Ballardini says his side’s match with Fiorentina tomorrow marks the start of a mini-tournament.

The Rossoblu slipped back into the relegation zone last week following defeat at Juventus and the tactician acknowledged the importance of the game against the Viola.

“We are conscious of the fact that a mini tournament is about to start,” Ballardini said at his pre-match Press conference.

“Four matches that will determine the outcome of the League. The team is in good shape physically, I was able to see that this week.

“There are other teams out there who will be in worse shape than us.

“We need the mentality, the physicality and the heart to fight to stay up.

“The fans? They always get behind us and I want to give them happiness with all my heart. The greatest regret you can have is to not give pleasure to them. They deserve it.

“Tomorrow is an incredibly important match for Bologna.”
