Vincenzo Montella has rubbished suggestions that he could leave Fiorentina for Milan at the end of the season.

Reports in the Italian Press this week had claimed that the Viola boss would be tempted to take over the Rossoneri.

However, the 39-year-old has insisted that there is no question that he will remain at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

“When I was a player with Roma every year a new team would come and approach me,” he told Rai Sport.

“But in the end, I always remained with the Giallorossi.

“I can say right now that I will definitely stay with Fiorentina, without a doubt.

“We’re just figuring out now what are plans for the summer and next season.”
