Francesco Lodi is reportedly intent on remaining with Catania for next season, even if they drop into Serie B.
The playmaker rejoined the Elefanti in January after an unsuccessful six month spell with Genoa, but has been unable to halt the club’s slide down the table.
With Catania on the verge of relegation, sat five points adrift of safety with four games to go, Sky Sport Italia report that Lodi’s intentions are to remain with the Sicilian outfit regardless of their Division for next year.
The 30-year-old has otherwise been speculated as set for a summer exit, with rivals Palermo said to once more be first in line for a possible bid.
