Former Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino has refused to deny talk of a return to the game with Bologna.
Speculation is that the 64-year-old could be in line for work with the Felsinei, after two seasons away following his exit from La Viola in 2012.
“The return or not does not depend on us, but on others,” Corvino told Radio International Bologna this week.
“Others will decide our fate. We have to wait and see if I will get the opportunity to come back after a desired and deserved break, but for now it is premature to talk about it.
“At the end of the season we shall see…”
Corvino helped construct the Fiorentina side that Cesare Prandelli worked with, but his reputation suffered after a difficult end to his tenure at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
