Speculation has been in recent months of the Bianconeri’s intention to extend the 44-year-old’s current deal beyond its June 2015 expiry and yesterday director general Beppe Marotta revealed plans to talk over the situation at the end of the season.
However, the Gazzetta dello Sport are reading that as a sign of Marotta and President Andrea Agnelli’s hope to avoid a similar situation to this time last year, and to have Conte agreed on new terms inside the next 20 days.
