Udinese director Cristiano Giaretta is “convinced Antonio Di Natale will play on next season, as he’s so motivated.”
The 36-year-old had said he was going to retire at the end of this term, but has since dropped hints he’s changed his mind.
“He has an important record ahead of him to achieve,” director of sport Giaretta told Sky Sport Italia.
“Will he remain next season? We are convinced he will play on, as he’s so motivated. In the discussions we have now, we get the feeling he wants to continue and is hungry for more success.”

“We want to improve our position in the table, as the current status isn’t gratifying. Tonight we want to do well, everyone is watching us and we are certainly not lacking in motivation.”

“The lad is certainly doing well, but there’s a long road ahead of him. He needs to have patience, then we’ll make our evaluations for the future.”
