Pulga hopes to end relegation threat

New Cagliari boss Ivo Pulga wants to ‘end the relegation conversation’ this weekend when his side play Sassuolo.

The recently returned Isolani Coach takes charge this Saturday as the Sardinian outfit go to the Neroverdi, looking for the three points that could take them 10 points clear of Livorno in 18th.

“We want to end this relegation conversation this weekend,” he told a Press conference.

“We’re going there to win. We want to stay up without doing any calculations.

“All the lads are going into this game with the mentality that we’re going to win.

“We need three or four points to stay up, and the sooner we get them the better.

“Having said that though, we know it’s not going to be easy against Sassuolo.

“They play some great football and are more than capable of getting a good result against us.”
