Italy have dropped one place to ninth in FIFA’s latest World Rankings, which were announced this morning.
Cesare Prandelli’s Azzurri were leapfrogged by this summer’s World Cup hosts Brazil, who jump three places to sixth.
Spain and Germany retain the top two positions, while Portugal, Colombia and Uruguay each move up one place to third, fourth and fifth respectively.
Roy Hodgson’s England meanwhile also go up a place and now occupy 11th position.
