Antonio Cassano trained away from the rest of his Parma teammates this morning, throwing into doubt his fitness for this weekend.
The Crociati host Napoli on Sunday evening looking for the three points that could take them above Inter and into fifth place.
But according to several outlets, including Calcio News, the veteran striker didn’t train with the rest of the squad for this morning’s session.
The 31-year-old trained on his own, with some suggesting that the forward may not be fully fit for the match at Ennio Tardini.
There has been no comment from the player or the club, but Parma will want their goalscorer fit for what is a crucial clash.
Cassano has enjoyed a new lease of life this season under Roberto Donadoni, netting 11 goals in the League.
