Patrice Evra’s agent has suggested the Inter target could be on his way out of Manchester United this summer.

The Frenchman is into the final six months of his current contract at Old Trafford and has been increasingly speculated as leaving the Red Devils in the summer.

With the Nerazzurri having completed a Bosman deal for teammate Nemanja Vidic and continually linked with interest in Evra, the 32-year-old’s agent has today offered them hope.

“At the moment it is too early to talk about what will happen next season,” representative Federico Pastorello began on Tele Radio Stereo.

“He must decide what he wants for his future. He is very close to United, but lately things have changed a bit.

“Could he go back to Italy? He considers Serie A a major championship, so if he were to leave England then it could be a possibility.”

Evra spent the 1999-00 season at Serie B side Monza, but managed only three appearances before returning to France, six years prior to then joining Manchester United.
