It’s reported Walter Mazzarri organised an Inter training exercise to prove Fredy Guarin wasn’t at fault for the Livorno goal.
However, Sky Sport Italia claim the Coach made the team go through a specific training exercise in which every player was in the same position as that incident.
Mazzarri then explained several of them should’ve better placed, so that Guarin was forced to pass it back because he had few other options.
In this way, he moved to reassure Guarin that it wasn’t entirely his fault.
