Vincenzo Montella’s side are virtually out of the race for Champions League qualification but do still have the Coppa Italia final to look forward to.
“In Florence I had some fantastic experiences,” Rossitto told Radio Blu. “I played in the Champions League and I will never forget the win at Wembley against Arsenal.
“Fiorentina haven’t been able to reach their potential this season. I imagine they will be wondering what might have been if they had had Rossi and Gomez on the pitch for the whole season.
“As for the Coppa Italia final, Napoli will start as favourites but I feel Fiorentina will win. They deserve a trophy after all the difficulties they have had.”
