But ahead of this weekend’s game against Chievo at San Siro, the Dutch Coach has revealed his target for the end of the campaign.
“The club have given me one goal and that’s to get into Europe,” he told Milan Channel.
“There are a lot of teams in front of us going for the same thing. We’ll evaluate things and see what happens.
“We’ve been thinking about next season since I arrived though.
“We are going through a difficult time, a lot like [Manchester] United. It’s going to need patience from the fans – we just want them to get behind us.
“I’m optimistic about the future though.”
Seedorf then commented on the match on Saturday against the Flying Donkeys.
“I think everyone has recovered well and are raring to go.
“Zapata is fine and working well, and we’ll evaluate Poli later day. He’s a versatile lad and brings us balance, so hopefully he’ll be okay.
“I think we’ve played well during the last two matches, and hopefully that confidence can take us into this match.”
The former midfielder concluded by remarking on his relationship with Adriano Galliani.
“The support of the club has been here since I arrived. There is nothing out of the ordinary here.”
