Giovanni Trapattoni believes the current 20 point gap that exists between Juventus and Napoli exaggerates the difference in class between the teams.
The 75-year-old reckons that while the Old Lady are clearly the best team in the country, Rafa Benitez’s Azzurri are not far behind.
“Benitez has won a lot and he is experienced,” Trapattoni told Radio Crc ahead of this weekend’s match between the teams.
“The Azzurri were unlucky in the match between the teams earlier in the season. But the Spanish Coach knows Juve’s weaknesses well.
“Juventus this year have been incredibly consistent but, in terms if the quality of their play, they are not 20 points better than Napoli.”
