Former Milan player Cristian Brocchi has defended under fire Rossoneri Coach Clarence Seedorf, insisting he inherited a difficult situation.
Ahead of the San Siro club’s game against Fiorentina tonight, the 38-year-old also said he is impressed by Vincenzo Montella’s side.
“Seedorf inherited a difficult situation,” Brocchi told Radio Sportiva. “The first person to pay the price is always the Coach when things are not going well.
“I’m not sure whether or not his job is on the line this evening.
“As for the Viola, if they don’t believe they can make the Champions League they are very wrong.
“Montella is right to aim high considering the difficult moment Napoli are going through.”
