And this afternoon the Zebrette have revealed they have come to an agreement with the former Manchester City player for his arrival when the transfer window re-opens.
A statement on the club’s official website read: “Udinese Calcio can announce that we have secured, as of July 1, 2014, the services of midfielder Albert Riera Ortega.”
Riera played just four times for Roberto Mancini’s team last term, failing to find the net in any of his League games.
