Milan have a new trident of Robinho, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Stephan El Shaarawy, but Lazio miss Miroslav Klose.

The biggest fixture of the evening is at the Stadio Olimpico, where the pitch is in good condition and weather not as bad as in the north of Italy.

The Rossoneri are still in the middle of an injury crisis with Kevin-Prince Boateng, Alberto Aquilani, Alexandre Pato, Mario Yepes, Alexander Merkel, Mathieu Flamini, Antonio Cassano, Gennaro Gattuso and Rodney Strasser out of action.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri has given El Shaarawy a rare start, most likely in the trequartista role behind the two strikers, although this could mutate during the game.

Thiago Silva returns in defence along with Djamel Mesbah, while Massimo Ambrosini comes into the midfield.

Lazio also have issues to contend with, as Klose has not recovered in time and Djibril Cissè was sold to QPR, so Tommaso Rocchi is the only striker.

On the injury list are Cristian Brocchi, Libor Kozak, Stephen Makinwa, Emiliano Alfaro, Lorik Cana and Stefano Mauri.

Lazio: Marchetti; Konko, Biava, Dias, Radu; Gonzalez, Ledesma, Lulic, Matuzalem; Hernanes; Rocchi

Lazio bench: Bizzarri, Diakitè, Stankevicius, Scaloni, Garrido, Candreva, Rozzi
Milan: Abbiati; Abate, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Mesbah; Ambrosini, Van Bommel, Nocerino; El Shaarawy; Robinho, Ibrahimovic

Milan bench: Amelia, Bonera, Zambrotta, Mexes, Seedorf, Emanuelson, Maxi Lopez
