Lyon directors claim they have “a small chance” of getting past Juventus in the Europa League quarter-finals.
The first leg will be in France on April 3 and the decider in Turin on April 10.
“These are always very interesting challenges to play,” director Bernard Lacombe told Bein Sport.
“We have a small chance and will try to make the most of it. It is going to be very, very tough.
“Lyon have proved our quality thus far against opponents of a high level. We have faced other Italian sides in the past and this will be a great challenge for our fans too.
“We are facing one of the best European teams of the moment.”
This is going to be a first, as Juventus and Olympique Lyonnais have never previously crossed paths.
Lyon qualified top of their Europa League group with three wins and three draws, then squeezed past Chornomorets Odesa 1-0 on aggregate in the Round of 32.
Last night the Ligue 1 side secured their spot in the final eight despite a 2-1 defeat to Viktoria Plzen, as they had won the first leg 4-1.
