According to reports in Italy, Inter are close to an agreement with Manchester United for Javi Hernandez.
Sport Mediaset claim negotiations are at an advanced stage for a summer transfer.
The Nerazzurri have been linked to Chicharito for some time and he had also been considered a target for Juventus.
The Mexican international forward is 25 years old and would help bring down the average age of the Inter squad next term.
He’d likely be a replacement for Diego Milito, whose contract is coming to an end in June.
Chicharito’s contract runs until June 2016, but he could be on the market after two goals in 16 Premier League appearances, most of them as a substitute.
Inter have already snapped up one Manchester United player, as Nemanja Vidic has agreed to join them as a free agent next season.
The San Siro side is also reportedly in talks with Patrice Evra for a similar deal.
