Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci says his side’s late win over Genoa was the most important of their season.
Goalkeeper Gigi Buffon saved a penalty before Andrea Pirlo stepped up to fire home an 89th minute free-kick to win it for the Old Lady.
“The Genoa win for me was the most important win of our season up until now,” Bonucci wrote on his official website.
“We played against a great Genoa team and my battle with my friend Gilardino was fantastic.
“I highly compliment them and it was a great win for us.
“Now we have 10 finals left to play.
“Until the maths say that it is, the Scudetto will not be ours.
“Now it’s on to Florence on Thursday for a game of a thousand emotions.
“They are playing at home so on paper they have the advantage.
“But we will see what happens out on the pitch. May the best team win.”
