Davide Ballardini’s position as Bologna Coach is reportedly under scrutiny once more, after defeat at the weekend.
On from a draw against fellow relegation strugglers Sassuolo in Week 27, the Felsinei’s 2-1 loss at Livorno yesterday has heaped pressure on the Coach, who only came in as Stefano Pioli’s replacement in January.
Slipping into the relegation zone in Livorno’s place because of yesterday’s result, speculation in sections of the media today is that Ballardini risks being sacked.
At the start of February after a run of poor results, Ballardini was rumoured to be on his way out, with predecessor Pioli seen as ready to return in his place.
