Insigne's season targets

Lorenzo Insigne is targeting second place in Serie A with Napoli and a World Cup spot for Italy.

“We believe in second place and we’re going to Turin in order to win the game,” he told Sky Sport Italia ahead of Monday night’s trip to Torino.

“I am happy to come face to face with Ciro Immobile again, as we had such a great time together playing for Pescara. He was out for the last game against Torino, so it’ll be emotional to have him as an opponent.”

Coach Rafa Benitez must also rotate the squad, as Napoli will host Porto in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 next Thursday.

“We don’t have a preference between Serie A and the Europa League, as we just want to do well in the next match.

“As for on a personal level, I hope to impress for the rest of the season and to deserve a place at the World Cup in Brazil.”
