The Cagliari President’s attempts to buy the Yorkshire outfit have hit a series of obstacles but the former Reading boss said things at Elland Road need to change.
“Massimo understands football and he knows exactly what is going on at the club,” McDermott told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“We need an owner in order to be strong and we need a leader.
“I have no doubts about that, we need a change here.”
