And the club captain has admitted that he longs to win the European Cup with the Giallorossi.
“I know time is short, but I have a dream and I want to realise it,” he told Rai Uno. “I want to win the Champions League.”
The veteran striker then revealed his all-time XI, made up of teammates and former opponents.
“Buffon; Maicon, Samuel, Candela; De Rossi, Xavi, Iniesa, myself; Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Ibrahimovic.
“I’d say that was a pretty good team. Definitely an expensive one!”
