Italian sports' High Court has rejected Roma’s appeal against the closing of the Curvas for the next League game against Inter.

The capital club had gone to the highest body on the peninsula to try and allow fans into the two ends of the Stadio Olimpico for this weekend’s clash, after they had them shut for anti-Neapolitan chants.

However, after a hearing this afternoon, CONI [Italian National Olympic Committee] have upheld the closure.

“The High Court of Justice have rejected the appeal filed by AS Roma on February 15,” a statement read.

“In addition to the dismissal of the appeal, the Court have also fined the company a fee of €80,000.”
