Today there was a Board meeting and a statement released confirming owners the Matarrese family cannot cover the existing debts.
It is “a situation of irreversible crisis” and administrators have been invited in to “safeguard the lustre and history of Bari Calcio for the city.”
Voluntary bankruptcy proceedings open the door for new owners to come in or even to begin a brand new club by buying up the title AS Bari.
