The Gialloblu board member was rumoured to be on his way to San Siro last year, before Adriano Galliani reversed his decision to leave.

However, the Bentegodi outfit’s staff member has claimed that he won’t talk about the rumours, but would remark on Verona’s objectives for the season.

“Milan? I won’t talk about that,” he told Tuttosport. “I won’t make a comment until the season is over.

“For Verona, the objective is always staying up. We’ve achieved good results, but we have to stay humble.

“We just have to try and get as many points as possible and see what happens at the end of the season.

“But if we show the same desire we showed last Sunday against Juventus” data-scaytid=”20″>Juventus, then I think we’ll be okay.”
