Mario Gomez has been named in Fiorentina’s squad to face Udinese in the Coppa Italia tomorrow.
The German striker has been laid low since September with a recurring knee injury, but Vincenzo Montella has deemed him fit enough to be involved against the Zebrette on Tuesday.
The Viola host the Friuli outfit in the cup semi-final second leg, and may do so with the former Bayern Munich, who could make his first appearance in five months.
Fiorentina squad for Udinese: Anderson, Aquilani, Bakic, Compper, Cuadrado, Diakite, Fernandez Matias, Gomez, Ilicic, Joaquin, Lupatelli, Matri, Neto, Pasqual, Pizarro, Rodriguez Gonzalo, Roncaglia, Rosati, Ryder Matos, Savic, Vargas, Wolski.
