Lazio President Claudio Lotito believes the ‘feud’ between his Coach Edy Reja and Roma counterpart Rudi Garcia has been blown out of all proportion.
Garcia took issue with comments by Reja that injuries to the Giallorossi may have hindered their chances in the derby.
“It was only a joke about injured players that started all of this,” Lotito told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Now everything’s fine and it was just a misunderstanding. We’ve made things up.”
The Biancocelesti held firm at the Stadio Olimpico to deny their old adversaries two valuable points in their pursuit of the Scudetto and Lotito believes a draw was a fair result on the whole.
“It was a physical and well-fought encounter,” he remarked. “We had a couple of chances.
“It was an open derby but the draw for me was a fair result.
“I think that at the moment with the results Roma are getting they are punching above their weight.”
