Another construction worker has been killed at Brazil’s World Cup stadium in Manaus, where Italy will make their debut.

Organisers confirmed a 55-year-old Portuguese man named Antonio Jose Pita Martins died in hospital after an accident while dismantling a crane.

He was hit by a metal bar in the head and chest.

This is the third worker to die at the Arena da Amazonia after an incident in December and another in March.

Italy will make their 2014 World Cup debut in the stadium against England on June 14.
